about

Crossroads often times become battlegrounds.

lyrics

Born from a thorn in the concrete. Boots in the way of a heartbeat. They want to satanize everything. They call that sanitizing. Kids are stepping all over the cracks. Trying to break their mothers’ backs. While the Sarajevo roses bud, right where they spilled the blood.
The smoke cleared and the streets were hot. They paint a garden in the parking lot. We watched the roses one by one. There was nothing to be done.
The queen was painting the parlor red. The color the young king had in his head. He was sitting shot-gun in the back seat. Head in the clouds, mind on the street. The clouds rolled in for a score and a half, while the god of war threw back his head and he laughed. As the Sarajevo roses bud, right where they spilled the blood.
